  • Egypt: Guided over 300 scuba dives as a head divemaster in the Red Sea
  • Canada/Mexico: 3000-mile, 105-day solo bicycle ride from BC to Cabo San Lucas
  • Russia: Traveled Russia during the first year of non-restricted travel-1993
  • Israel: Spent Christmas Eve in Bethlehem-the birthplace of Christ
